I am Dr Prafull S Shah, MBBS, CC in Cardiology, conducts all the Pre Sea, Periodic medicals (completed 24 yrs back), I am a DG shipping (GOI) approved Doctor with experience of 14yrs in Marine Medicine from 2 leading Merchant Navy clinics. My special field of interest is those crews who becomes temporary unfit, i can treat them and provide fitness certificate once they becomes fit. I can also give second opinion (as per MLC 2006) to those who becomes permanently unfit. I can also provide tele-medicine advice to families of the seafarers.
